Anti-Doping Seminar
As part of our ongoing collaboration with UK Anti-Doping (UKAD), we will be holding an internal seminar where members of our academic teams will be presenting previous, current or prospective research that aligns, or could align to, anti-doping topics.
The SSEHS Anti-Doping Seminar, held in collaboration with UKAD, will take place on Thursday 7th July from 12:30-14:15 and is free of charge to attend. Confirmed speakers for the event to share their research on anti-doping topics are: Dr Liam Heaney, Dr Jim Reynolds (Chemistry), Dr Daniel Read (LU London), Ailish King, Dr Ed Cope, Ellie-May Storr and Dr Jamie Kenyon.
Several members of staff from UKAD will be attending the seminar, and so it will provide a great opportunity for guests to network with their team as well as engage with the interests and priorities of UKAD and their stakeholders.
The seminar will be held on campus (room location pending number of attendees) where there will be light refreshments available. The seminar will also be streamed online via the UKAD Zoom account for those who cannot attend the session in person.
In order to make sure we have a suitable room and enough cakes for all attending the seminar, please sign up for the event in advance by clicking the link below. When you have completed this short form, you will then be contacted in the week commencing 4 July with further detailed information.
