Breaking Barriers: a Professional Game Match Officials Board event

The Professional Game Match Officials Board (PGMOL) are running a series of webinars as part of the organisation’s wider work and commitment to diversifying the pool of professional referees and match day officials.
Currently, there is a stark under-representation of Black, Asian, LGBT+ people, women as well as those with disabilities.
The Breaking Barriers series will see high-profile names from refereeing and other areas of football, share their personal stories of achieving success to help to pass on key information, advice and guidance to aspiring referees and those with an interest in knowing more about the profession.
The series continues on Thursday 25 March at 1700 GMT as former Football League Referee Jarnail Singh is joined by his two sons - Sunny and Bhupinder - who are following in his footsteps and are both making their mark in the profession.
The Singh family will share their journey with Sky Sports Presenter Dharmesh Sheth.
