Specialist facilities and equipment
We are proud to host specialist resources for teaching, learning and research across the scientific disciplines. These include labs for robotics, networking, HCI and imaging technology in Computer Science, with spectrometers, radio telescopes and our very own campus observatory in Physics.

Mathematics Learning Support Centre
Providing a range of free services to support any student in their learning of mathematics or statistics, the Mathematics Learning Support Centre offers a welcome space for quiet study, revision and group study, centrally located on campus and well-stocked with learning resources.
IT facilities
Across campus there are over 1,900 computers, with several labs open 24/7 for your convenience, even during University holidays. There are dual-boot systems which run Windows 10 or Mac OS X, equipped with a range of specialist software. You can also download software to your own devices free of charge.
University Library
Home to an extensive range of study materials with specially trained support staff, the Library provides a variety of spaces for individual and group study. There are also computer suites, workstations and the PC Clinic, offering help, advice and support for all IT-related services.
Campus
