Title of thesis: Wireless Energy Harvesting in the Automotive IoT
My research is focused on RF Energy Harvesting and Automotive IoT. The automotive industry employs many electronic devices attached to the vehicles' wiring or involve batteries that require replacement.
My research aims to discontinue the use of batteries and avoid inconvenient wiring. Capturing wireless energy and radiating it in the wireless channel in and around the vehicle to provide a sustainable technology is the primary goal leading to a cleaner transport technology and enhanced functionality of the vehicle.
My interest in this area developed during my master’s project, which involved IoT. I was drawn towards the research idea and decided to go ahead and pursue a PhD.
