Background
Marcos was born in Brazil and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He later earned a MSc in Acoustics and Vibration, and completed his education with a PhD from the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research at the University of Southampton.
