Habib sold his artwork at the exhibition, which looks at racial prejudice in modern society and features text in the background from the 1940s book, ‘Sierra Leone studies’.
The judges said:
“This is a terrific piece in every way, great technique, great message, a great artistic achievement”.
The Signature Art Prize aims to promote the work of artists at the beginning of their careers, showcasing the unique styles and designs of students and recent graduates.
Habib graduated with a degree in Fine Art in 2017.
