Healthcare Learning Pathway Booking Terms and Conditions

Very important: By booking a place on a course with º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.

1.0 Booking 

1.1 You must book and pay for your course prior to completion. You must complete the Level 1 e-learning course within one calendar month from the date of booking. If you cannot complete your course by this deadline, you will need to contact d.s.hfehub@lboro.ac.uk to request an extension.

1.2 The first Level 2 modules Systems and Task Analysis must be completed within 6 months from the date of booking.  Other Level 2 modules to be completed within 12 months of Systems and Task Analysis. An extension is at the discretion of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and will depend on available places. 

1.3 The courses are designed to accommodate specific requirements (eg visual or hearing impairment) but please let us know if you have any issues with access. Please note, we do not provide foreign language versions of the courses, however, you are welcome to have a friend or colleague participate with you on the online course to translate for you.

2.0 Payment 

2.1 You can pay online using most debit and credit cards. Once you have booked and paid for your course, the booking and any payment is subject to the cancellation schedule below. 

2.2 It is possible to make large group/organisational bookings directly and pay via invoice.  You can request this option through d.s.hfehub@lboro.ac.uk.

Cancellations by the Delegate / Refunds

Notice given by delegate (prior to course date)

Applicable fee / procedure

Between one calendar month and one week

Delegates may transfer free of charge to any other equivalent price Level 2 Learning Pathway module. For requested refunds and cancellations, an administration fee of £100 per delegate will be charged.

Between one week and start time of course

Delegates may transfer free of charge to any other equivalent price Level 2 module.  No refund is payable on cancellation.

Where a delegate transfers his/her booking to another course, the delegate will not be entitled to any refund where he/she cancels attendance at that other course. Only one transfer is permitted per course per delegate.

3.0 Attendance 

The Level 1 e-learning will take around 1 hour and the Level 2 modules approximately 6 hours. You must satisfactorily complete the course and quiz style learning check to be issued with a personalised accredited certificate of completion.  The course link and certificate will be registered to the booking name and must not be shared with friends or colleagues.

4.0 Data Security 

Your personal data will only be used for purposes in relation to operating the course.
