Princess is a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant, which means she is completing a PhD and teaching part-time. She supports teaching through leading tutorials, workshops and lectures. Her current thesis title is “Designing Positively: A Wellbeing Integrative Approach to Designing Food to Go Services”. Further, she is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Princess graduated from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ with a First-Class Honours in Industrial Design and Technology. During her time at university, she focused primarily on developing her design research skills; she completed a year-long placement as a Consumer Insight Researcher at JELD-WEN, wherein she developed a new research plan within the company, primarily working on generating initial insights and concepts.

Princess’s PhD project is centred around Design for Wellbeing in Service Design, focusing on the context of food-to-go. Her research uses generative techniques such as mapping and co-design workshops to investigate current experiences.
