How to apply
Find out everything you need to know about applying to study with us as an exchange or visiting student.
Exchange students
- Discuss your exchange options with your home university’s study abroad office and follow their selection procedure.
- Your home university will contact us to nominate you as an exchange student.
- We will email you with further information regarding our application process.
- When you have completed all application documents, please return your completed application to LB-international@lboro.ac.uk.
- Our Academic Exchange Co-ordinator will check your module choices and either approve them or offer advice on their suitability.
- Once your application is approved, we will forward your application documents to the University’s Academic Registry to be processed.
- You should be contacted by the Academic Registry to confirm your official enrolment at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, at which point you will receive your unique student number.
Visiting students
Visiting student applications are managed by the University’s Admissions Office.
- Download the visiting student application form.
- Your home university’s exchange co-ordinator can help you complete your learning agreement, and must also sign it.
- Return your completed application documents to LB-international@lboro.ac.uk.
- Our Academic Exchange Co-ordinator will check your module choices and either approve them or offer advice on their suitability.
- Once your application is approved, we will forward your application documents to the University’s Admissions Office to be processed.
- You should be contacted by the Academic Registry to confirm your official enrolment at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, at which point you will receive your unique student number.
English language requirements
To be accepted as a visiting student, you must have a qualification in English language, whether your first language is English or not.
You must have an IELTS (or equivalent) score of at least 6.5 overall, with no less than 6 in any component.
