Dr Longxiang Zhao joined º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Business School in February 2021. He previously held posts as an Academic Tutor at the University of Sheffield International College and a member of Teaching Faculty at the University of Sheffield and the University of Reading, whilst studying for his PhD. His PhD thesis focused on biodiversity accounting and accountability in a Chinese context.
Longxiang is currently working as a Research Associate as part of a new Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Centre for Mineral-based Construction Materials (ICEC-MCM) being funded by UKRI, conducting research on enabling capital investment projects for a circular economy, thus, to support the transition to a Circular Economy for construction materials in infrastructure.
The ICEC-MCM is one of five new circular economy research centres funded by the UK Government to help reduce waste, energy and pollution in UK industries. º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is leading one of the three ‘challenges’ in the ICEC-MCM.
