Lei Chen is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Business School, having joined the School in 2021.

- Banking and financial institutions
Prior to joining º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, Lei held posts at the University of Sheffield, Keele University, and the University of Exeter. She holds a PhD in Accountancy from the University of Glasgow. Before becoming an academic, Lei worked in the banking sector in China for several years.
Lei’s research interests cover a wide range of research topics in accounting and finance, including corporate information disclosure, financial literacy and banking and financial institutions.
