Brian is an accomplished and qualified educator who has teaching expertise at all levels of management education. Currently he leads the Media Management (MBA) and teaches Marketing Management; Marketing Analysis; International Marketing; Strategic Marketing & Planning (MSc) and Retail Management; Brand Management (undergraduate).
He also has taught on the Chartered Institute of Marketing as part of the successful team for over 10 years. His subject areas were Managing Marketing Performance, Marketing Communications and Marketing in Practise, which were core modules on the postgraduate and Professional Diploma programme.
Brian also has over 20 years' commercial experience working in senior management roles in the communication industry; Sales & Marketing Director for a specialist publication (London); Managing Director for a regional newspaper (East Midlands); Sales Director for a local newspaper (Home Counties). He is also an innovator and during his career launched several new publications.
