'Brave Talk' - How to give support for anxiety and depression

Hosted by alumna Alex Fraser on behalf of Maybelline.

Alex Fraser graduated in 2015 from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Business School with a degree in Retailing, Marketing and Management. Having spent her placement year working for L’Oréal, she returned after graduating and has worked there ever since in visual merchandising and marketing. She is currently Senior Product Manager for total colour for Maybelline New York.

A huge part of her role has been to launch Maybelline’s global mental health initiative – Brave Together – in partnership with Ditch the Label.

As part of this initiative, Maybelline alongside global charity partner Jed Foundation have developed a 60-minute training module called Brave Talk. This has been developed to put 1:1 support for anxiety and depression into everyone’s hands.

The Brave Talk Model has been built to support friends, providing everyone with the tools to understand how to have a conversation with somebody in your life who may be struggling with a mental health challenge, being able to signpost them to Ditch the Label if necessary.
