Jane, as Hanbury Strategy’s Head of People, is a Partner and Board Member with responsibility for attracting and retaining Hanbury team members and driving culture for this fast-growth public affairs and communications consultancy, founded in 2016. Jane oversees a team of 120 in London and Brussels known for high performance, client excellence and an unfailing commitment to company values.
Her early career was spent leading technology and corporate communications programmes including 15 years at global PR agency Golin, where latterly moving into a people role, she led the people and inclusion strategy for the 150-strong London team. Golin was highly decorated and recognised for its progressive people programmes including work around ending unpaid internships, market-leading family friendly policies and full transparency on the company’s gender pay gap. During this time Golin was invited to advise the government on innovative and inclusive ways to get young people into work and on policies to address the gender pay gap such as ‘returnship’ programmes.
Between leaving Golin and joining Hanbury she was a Culture and Inclusion Consultant for organisations including the Ministry of Justice, The Civil Aviation Authority, Ipsos Mori and Centrica. Jane is also an active member of Women in PR UK, a Fellow of the Public Relations Consultancy Association or PRCA and has held other advisory roles for organisations including Battersea Cats and Dogs Home.
We award her in recognition of her outstanding career in communications and driving change within organisations.
