Our accreditations
We’re proud of the work we’re doing to push the boundaries of business education and research (and it’s been triple validated too).
Our prestigious international accreditations validate the quality of education students can expect, from teaching and research to student support and facilities.
We’re one of just a handful of business schools to hold triple-accreditation with AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, all of which are held at a School-wide level.
We also hold the Small Business Charter award and are a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).
EQUIS
We have been awarded Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
The EFMD is a network for schools and companies that aim to develop socially responsible leaders and managers looking for opportunities to connect. It upholds a rigorous peer-review process, looking to award schools for their overall quality, viability and self-improvement commitment to students, employers and academic partners.
AMBA
The Association of MBAs (AMBA) accredits business schools for the highest standards of achievement in postgraduate business education.
It judges schools on their impact and learning outcomes, as well as the employability of their students.
The association upholds rigorous criteria, ensuring that only programmes demonstrating the highest standards in teaching, learning and curriculum design achieve accreditation. It continuously updates its accreditation policies as it believes that programmes should reflect changing trends and innovation in the postgraduate education sector.
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has held AMBA accreditation for over 30 years.
Small Business Charter
This is awarded by the Chartered Association of Business Schools. The award demonstrates:
- the depth and effectiveness of business engagement and support that we offer;
- our commitment to supporting small businesses, local economies and student entrepreneurship.
PRME
We are signatories of the Principles for Responsible Management Education and have been named a PRME Champion 2024-2025. As a research-intensive, globally connected university with excellent links to industry, we aim to lead research and practice in responsible management by applying PRME’s six principles.
We engage with not-for-profit organisations through research, staff volunteering, student projects and internships.
