Summary of project activities and outcomes:
This evaluation was a recognition of the important role of research dissemination in achieving DFID’s aims of poverty alleviation and by the need to optimise the value added to the funds spent on research each year. The evaluation:
- Described and reviewed current means used by DFID to disseminate knowledge and information derived from research (and evaluation)
- Identified examples of better (and worse) practice in current DFID dissemination methods
- Made recommendations to DFID on how to enhance the impact of DFID research dissemination
