º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ the conference

The WEDC International Conference is a valued and respected platform for reflection, debate and exchange of knowledge and ideas, rooted in practice. It will bring together participants from the research, practice and policy communities to discuss and explore a broad range of issues in water engineering and development.

Typically, we attract attendees from more than 40 countries. In addition to traditional presentation and poster formats, the conference will also incorporate sessions where participants can discuss key themes. There will also be opportunities for international agencies to provide training for sector professionals and workshops to support students.

In the Call for Contributions authors are invited to submit extended abstracts for review under a topic to specifically address the issues related to water and climate resilience and adaptation within the context of the topic. Topics include:

• Disaster risk management

• Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services

• Emerging technologies for water management (inc. AI)

• Flood management

• Nature-based solutions

• Water security

• Water quality
