We are delighted to announce that Dr Masoud Sotoodeh-Bahraini has joined Intelligent Automation this week as a Research Associate in Sensing and Perception for Industrial Robotics.
Masoud achieved his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Yazd University, Iran in 2018. He joined City University of London as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Planetary Robotics Navigation and Decision Making in 2019, where he worked in the Robotics, Autonomy and Machine Intelligence (RAMI) laboratory.
Prior to that Masoud was a Research Assistant at the Autonomous and Intelligence Systems Laboratory (AISL) at Simon Fraser University, Surrey, BC, Canada. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sirjan University of Technology, Iran.
His current research interests lie in Autonomous Robots, Cooperative VSLAM/VO, Deep Learning, Self-driving Cars, Robot Navigation, Mechanism Design, and Control.
