O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv (NUUE)
Associate Professor Dmytro Roslavtsev was born in the city of Simferopol, Crimea, but most of his life was spent in Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine and its cultural, scientific, and industrial centre. In 2002, he defended a Master's degree in Transport Systems at the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University and decided to continue his professional development in the field of higher education and research.
In 2008 he defended his PhD, and in 2013 received the title of associate professor at the O.M. Beketov Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy, where until now he remains in the position of associate professor of the Transport Systems and Logistics Department. Since 2013 he became a part of the educational management team at NUUE and was appointed to the Head of Educational and Methodological Department, and till now this is his primary role at NUUE. His area of responsibility is the organization of the educational process, the development of regulatory and methodological support, and monitoring compliance with the internal and external regulatory framework in the field of higher education.
However, research and educational activities in the field of transport systems and logistics are core of his professional development. He has taken part in international projects Erasmus + KA2, Jean Monnet and EIT Urban mobility RIS Hub Poland. Results of his research experience have been implemented in projects funded by public and commercial enterprises, such as Kharkiv City Council and Canada, Poland. his current research interests fall under challenges concerning the development of sustainable urban transport systems.
