Swati Joshi completed her thesis ‘Samuel Beckett and Carescapes’ at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. Last year, she went to the Centre for the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine, University of Manchester as a Visiting Doctoral Scholar for the spring semester.
Her recent co-authored paper published in MDPI’s special issue of ‘Translating Health through the Humanities’ was chosen for the issue’s cover page. Moreover, she has published her research in the BMJ, The Polyphony, Handbook of Aging, Health, and Public Policy and Springer. She was recently invited as a panelist on the panel of ‘Beckett and Care’ at MLA 2023 by the former President of the Samuel Beckett Society. Prior to joining her doctoral studies, she worked as a Lecturer of English Language and Literature at St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Ahmedabad, India.
