Local child poverty indicators
Every year CRSP produces data for the End Child Poverty Coalition, showing the number and proportion of children living in poverty after housing costs, in each Westminster Constituency and Local Authority across the UK.
An accompanying report explores in more detail the patterns of child poverty in local areas, identifying areas where children are particularly at risk and the potential drivers of an increased prevalence of child poverty. The statistics are used to monitor and increase understanding of local child poverty rates by a wide range of organisations, including local authorities, the NHS, voluntary organisations, charities, and transport planners.
