Dr Richard Blanchard Guest Editing Sustainability Journal Special Issue on "Renewable Energy for Climate Change Mitigation and Energy System Resilience"

The use of fossil fuels has transformed the way we live and brought about significant human achievement. However, the cost is the environmental catastrophe we face with global warming.

The aim of this Special Issue is to provoke dialogue regarding the role of renewable energy in the mitigation of climate change. Further, it will also consider how renewable energy can contribute to the resilience of energy systems to ensure sustainability in a warming world. In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome.
