Grid Algebra launch event
4 October 2022 - Burleigh Court Hotel
Around 40 people joined us on 4 October at Burleigh Court Hotel for the launch of Grid Algebra - created by the CMC's Dave Hewitt. (Pictures of the event below)
The website gridalgebra.com is aimed at supporting school children with algebra and giving them support in conceptual understanding through the comparative judgement software. It is hoped that Grid Algebra will build confidence within the pupils and allows them to enjoy the mathematics despite its initial complicated and daunting look.
To find out more about Grid Algebra or if you are interested in taking part in a research project on the use of Grid Algebra please contact Dave Hewitt (d.p.hewitt@lboro.ac.uk).
