Funding options for PhDs
Self- and government-funded students are welcome to get in touch to discuss their research aspirations and whether ARAMP would be a good fit.
If you would be interested in a PhD position in our group, but do not currently have funding, please browse the links below. If you identify an appropriate source of funding, we can work with you to prepare your application.
Fulbright-º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Award
An agreement between the Fulbright Commission and º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ offers the opportunity for a US Postgraduate research student to receive a fully-funded 3 year studentship. Applications are made via your Home University in the US, with a deadline in early January. You will need a letter of support from us as part of your application, so get in touch early to discuss potential projects.
Elite Athlete Scholarships
This is a three-year studentship covering UK tuition fees and a stiped, and is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to pursue research alongside their sporting development.
The Sports Development Centre nominate individuals who are competing in º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ performance programmes, who are either targeting a major senior international event, have a realistic opportunity of competing at senior international level within 18 months, or who can demonstrate the potential to make a significant contribution to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s sporting success.
Contact us first to discuss possible projects. Applications should then be made to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Sport around May.
Postdoctoral positions
We are happy to discuss hosting researchers with personal fellowships and funding, including supporting you through the application process.
We also welcome queries from more senior researchers with personal fellowships who wish to relocate to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.
Please get in touch to discuss possible options, including the following postdoctoral funding schemes.
