Equipment - Z Printer 450 / Z Corporation/3D Systems for 3D Printing

The Z Printer 450 is a powder bed based 3D printing system which can produce full colour ceramic parts layer-by layer using a tri-colour (cyan, magenta, yellow) print head design. The machine is used for research and demonstration purposes. 

The print head is used to deposit a binder material and a colour pigment onto a bed of ceramic powder. As soon as the binder is in contact with the powder, consolidation is taking place. The part needs no support structure due to the powder bed.
