Health and wellbeing are cornerstones of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s research and wider ethos. We support our world class reputation for sport and supporting healthy lifestyles with world-leading research across a variety of topics across health, wellbeing and nutrition.
Our transdisciplinary research drives creative real-world solutions to promote health and wellbeing for everyone. Our expertise bridges health and exercise science, psychology, sociology, arts, management, geography, design, engineering and technology. In partnership with institutions across the Midlands, the UK and internationally, we are able to inform policies and deliver solutions to health-related issues.
A key branch of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s research into health and nutrition is our Centre for Lifestyle Medicine and Behaviour (CLiMB). The Centre involves world leading academics, researchers and health professionals who are working to provide high quality evidence to reduce preventable diseases in the population, and impact public health practice and policy through robust research evidence.
CLiMB are proud to partner with various national and international partners and CLiMB Ghana.
The team is led by Professor Amanda Daley, and includes senior academics, research associates, doctorate students and support staff.
