Watch Nye at the next National Theatre Live screening on campus

Tim Price's new play ‘Nye’ will be showing at Cope Auditorium on Tuesday 23 April, 7pm.

Broadcast live from the National Theatre, Michael Sheen plays Nye Bevan in a surreal and spectacular journey through the life and legacy of the man who transformed Britain’s welfare state and created the NHS, directed by Rufus Norris (Small Island). 

Confronted with death, Aneurin ‘Nye’ Bevan’s deepest memories lead him on a mind-bending journey back through his life; from childhood to mining underground, Parliament and fights with Churchill. 

Please note that the certificate for ‘Nye’ is 15. 

This screening is on a Tuesday and not a Thursday like our regular National Theatre Live screenings. 

Tickets are £10 and £5 for º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ students. You can book your tickets in advance online or card payments can be taken on the door (subject to availability).
