It is open to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ students, staff, and members of the public aged 16 plus. In addition to weekly practices, the Choir gives several public performances a year, including Christmas and Spring concerts. They are also invited to be part of other University events such as the annual carol service, Christmas in the Woods and one-off events likes the Commonwealth Games Baton Relay festival in 2022.
Run by LU Arts and conducted by Eleanor Graff-Baker, the Choir rehearses on a Monday evening in Cope Auditorium during term time only, from 7pm-9pm.
Membership costs £10 per concert period (Sep-Dec or Jan-May), and this includes the cost of weekly rehearsals and a loan of any sheet music you need. Student membership is free, but students should still register.
You can purchase a membership for the academic year 2023/24 or for just one concert period. You are welcome to observe or try a session free of charge before payment and you will be able to borrow the music for the night but not take it home.
Rehearsals will resume on Monday 2 October 2023 and membership is available to purchase from the University online store:
Please note that once you have purchased your membership you will be added to the Choir's email group, which is used to keep members updated with all the latest information regarding rehearsals and concerts.
If you have any questions about the Choir, please email LboroUniChoir@gmail.com to find out more about membership and for the latest information on arrangements.

The Cope Auditorium has step-free access and there is an accessible toilet in the main foyer. Parking is available outside the building in the evenings. If the barrier is down, then please press the buzzer and ask Security to raise it.
If you have any specific access requirements or anything you feel the Choir should be aware of when running rehearsals, please let us know by emailing LUArts@lboro.ac.uk and we will do our best to accommodate them.
