Curious about a degree in engineering? Year 11 students invited to upcoming Experience Day at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ

If you are a motivated and determined person with a desire to create, design and innovate, why not see if an Engineering degree is right for you?

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is one of the largest engineering universities in the UK, having offered courses in this area since its inception in 1909.

To help the next generation of engineers, the University is delighted to offer Year 11 students the opportunity to attend an Engineering Experience Day in July. It takes place on two dates – 5 and 6 July – and attendees are welcome to attend either or both days (please note the event is not residential).

The event will include:

  • Workshops delivered by academics, researchers, and expert alumni in the industry

  • Opportunities to explore different types of engineering and the careers they provide

  • Information about the different courses on offer at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ

  • The chance to ask current students questions about their experience and what it’s like to study at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ

The Experience Day is a fantastic way to see first-hand what studying engineering at university is like, in addition to enhancing your personal statement and CV. Attendees can also meet and hear from inspiring industry experts.
