Inspiring Minds: Upcoming post-16 taster days to explore range of disciplines to help students understand university-level study

Inspiring Minds is º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ's series of academic taster days for post-16 students.

Students will have the opportunity to come to campus and experience what it would be like to study their chosen subject at the University. These events aim to help students make informed decisions about their higher education options, by exploring subject areas in greater depth and developing an understanding of university-level study.

The Schools and College Liaison team, supported by academics, will be delivering several Inspiring Minds events over the coming months. The events allow students to enhance their current studies and experience studying their chosen subject area at undergraduate level through a range of topical taster sessions, including lectures and workshops, delivered by academic teaching staff. The Inspiring Minds series of events will be held on the following dates:

At this event, attendees can choose to attend multiple sessions across the Business and Economics subjects, explore campus facilities and meet current students and successful recent graduates.

At this event, attendees will choose two subject taster sessions in the morning and then spend the afternoon exploring the Art and Design Degree show, where they can talk with current students and discover some of the amazing work produced here at the University.

At this event, attendees can customise their experience and choose up to four different sessions to create a personalised timetable.

Individual students, as well as school and college groups, are welcome. The events are free of charge to attend.
