The launch began with events for staff, with exhibition stands outlining the University’s vision, purpose, aims and values; screenings of the Strategy animation and the new Research and Innovation video; and opportunities to consider how staff can contribute to the three institutional themes.
Following the staff events, the Strategy was launched to the University’s external partners and stakeholders at an event in London, with presentations on the institutional themes, exhibition stands showcasing key areas of research and innovation, and opportunities to learn more about the University’s activities in sustainability, in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and within the staff groups.
More than 1,000 staff, students, alumni and external partners were involved in sessions to shape the Strategy’s development.
