Evidence-based, fad-free approach to fitness and nutrition with ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ inspired app

Coaches at ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ are the brains behind a newly launched personalised health and fitness app.

Named Oro, it sets a new standard for online fitness and nutrition, applying the latest scientific research used for professional athletes to help individuals reach their own goals.

The app has been built in partnership with ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ Sport’s Performance Support team - who have supported the likes of Olympic legend Lord Sebastian Coe and world record-holder Paula Radcliffe, to modern-day champions including James Wilby, Beth Dobbin, and Sarah Hunter.

The team has now taken this expertise and created a fitness and nutrition programme that adapts to its users week-by-week.

The idea of Oro is based on one of simplicity and flexibility focusing on the following values:

â—ڈ        “Brilliant basics” - training which is fuss and fad-free, backed by science and is proven to achieve optimum results

â—ڈ        Whole-body approach - focusing on primary, secondary and tertiary muscles to develop and protect the whole body over the long-term

â—ڈ        Personalised meal plans - focused on flavour and designed to meet the users’ needs as they progress, flexing with the prescribed strength and conditioning programme each week

The programmes are suitable for persons of any ability, using a combination of over 350 individual filmed exercises and over 700 recipes. The app’s ‘smart programming’ system offers a varied combination of workouts and meal plans which are bespoke to the user’s body, cultural and lifestyle preferences, and goals.

Oro’s nutritionally balanced and sustainable recipes are created by Michelin-star chefs and food influencers including Tom Kitchin, Daniel Clifford, Laurence Henry and vegan cook, Gaz Oakley and developed under the guidance of ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ’s Performance Nutrition lead Andrew Shepherd.

Jo Simpson, Commercial Director, ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ Sport said:

“At ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ, we are globally recognised for supporting Olympic medalists and World Champions but our evidence-based, fad-free approach to fitness and nutrition applies to everyone.

“We’ve combined our expertise to create Oro. Our unique and accessible programmes are designed to create personalised plans to help people progress towards their goals week by week. From the outset, our objective was to create a best in class experience for users and with Oro, I’m really proud to have achieved this.”

Natasha Reynolds, co-founder of Oro added:

“Over recent years, access to training and nutrition advice has become much more readily available. A lot of that content is great, however, it often takes a blanket approach and doesn’t connect training with nutrition, which is paramount in achieving a fitness goal.

“In a world where personalisation is key, digitally, there is nothing on the market that delivers sustainable training and nutrition programs tailored to an individual to help them achieve their health and wellbeing goals.

“That is exactly what Oro is. A combination of truly personalised, smart and accurate adaptable training & nutrition plans developed by experts. We want to give people the confidence to make changes that last, by empowering and educating people to re-energise their health and fitness routines, whilst eating great food and enjoying themselves in the process.”

Oro is available to download for FREE on iOS and Android. Oro’s Premium upgrade option is £8.99 per month, including more recipe options, Personal Best tracker, personalised advice and discounts from Oro partners.
