º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Art Festival returns for a second year with an inspiring programme of creative events

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Art Festival is back for a second year with a diverse and exciting programme of events taking place from 5-13 June.

The Festival is a celebration of the creative arts here at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, and gives people the opportunity to find out more about the activities taking place on the University campus.

It will be showcasing student projects, running artistic workshops, hosting a full-day symposium and holding informative talks with academics, alumni and special guests.‌

It follows on from a successful first year of the Arts Festival in 2018.

Most of the events are free to attend and are open to staff, students and members of the public.

Nick Slater, Director of LU Arts, commented: “I am really excited by the variety of activity on offer this year, celebrating the broad arts offer at the University.

“The festival offers audiences the opportunity to participate in art workshops, engage with some of the fascinating research undertaken at the University and view the high-quality work presented by students in the degree shows and end of year theatre productions. We look forward to welcoming you to the events.”
