º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Careers Network voted number two in the UK

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Careers Network has been voted number two in the UK, according to a university review website.

Student Hut analysed over 68,000 student reviews from over 157 higher education institutions, and º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ students gave the Careers Network an overall score of 4.49/5.

Helen Smith, Head of Careers and Employability at the University, commented: “The University’s Careers Network team is delighted to know that our students value the advice and support we provide to help them achieve their ‘personal best’ and career goals.

“The Careers and Placements team is regularly ranked as one of the best in the UK, reflecting the quality and accessibility of our services, and the Student Hut rating is further reinforcement of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s excellence in student experience and support.”

Students at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ benefit from a range of support to enhance their career, both during their time at University and after they graduate.

These include workshops to improve skills during an interview or assessment centre, running employer-led events throughout the year, and hosting one of the largest careers fairs in the UK.

In addition, this academic year the Network launched Personal Best - a bespoke development programme designed specifically for º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ students to encourage them to build a personal record of activities and experiences to help them stand out from the crowd when starting their career.
