The three-season deal will see all 60 º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ elite student athletes kitted out in arena’s performance race suits for competitions and with swimsuits and swim aids for training.
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Director of Swimming, Andi Manley, explained:
“This partnership with arena is an extension to the state-of-the-art facilities we have here at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ. The swimmers have a world-class coaching team, access to the best gym, pool and support facilities and now the best performance swimwear. When all these elements come together, our athletes will continue to be unstoppable.”
The agreement is another sign of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Sport’s growing commercial stature within the higher education sector and follows successful partnerships with Nuffield Health, Technogym, and Maximuscle respectively.

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s swim team is the most successful university swimming team in the country and are on course to win a record-breaking 40th consecutive overall British University & Colleges Sport (BUCS) title, the pinnacle of university sport.
As part of the deal, all º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Swimming team members have been personally fitted with an arena Powerskin Carbon-Air suit or jammer shorts. The swimmers will also wear Cobra Ultra Swipe googles which incorporate arena’s new Anti-Fog Swipe Technology.
The final meet of the season for the swimming team will be at the British Summer Championships in Glasgow from 23-28 July.
