Enterprise student designs nostalgic print for the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Family

A student has created a print dedicated to the quirks of life at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.

Lauren Jefferis, who is currently undertaking a Year in Enterprise, has worked with the University’s Creative and Print Services to put her illustration on sale as a keepsake for those graduating from the University, or to anyone who is proud to be a member of the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ family.

Her illustration features town landmarks such as the sock man and the Carillon Tower, the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Cup, Charlie the cat, and even the socks and sliders combo which can be seen on campus no matter what the season.

The design can also be personalised to include a name and year at the bottom of the print.

Lauren said: “It feels amazing to make something that could resonate with students about their time at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.

“I have tried to pick out some of the most memorable images of life at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ as the University is so much more than just a place to study. To be able to have my work sold by the University is a big honour and I wouldn't feel so confident about running my business if it wasn't for º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ's continued support.”

She will also be supporting her friend, Hannah, and a group of fellow º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ students who are running in the Amsterdam Marathon later this year to raise money for charity.

As a result, £1 from the first 50 prints sold will be donated to Mind UK.

The print is available to purchase online (using a staff or student account) and is priced from £17 - £32. Those who purchase a print can then collect it from Creative and Print Services at the Herbert Manzoni Building (approximately one-week turnaround).

Alternatively, if you are not a staff member or student at the University please contact Creative and Print Services by calling 01509 222190 or emailing print@lboro.ac.uk.

The print will also be available to buy alongside other official souvenirs at the Graduation ceremonies taking place 16-19 July.
