Dr David Fletcher, Senior Lecturer in Sport and Performance Psychology, was announced as the winner of the category earlier this week, which received more than 140 nominations from across the country.
Both current and former PhD students praised David for his outstanding support over the years. He has encouraged them to present at international conferences, mentored them into getting their desired job, nominated them for awards, and held sessions to help students build on their writing skills.
The students also remarked on how David is not only supportive academically, but also pastorally.
