º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ supports local groups through the Community Donations Fund

10 organisations based in Charnwood received funding from the University as part of their Community Donations Fund.

Three times a year, applications are welcomed from groups in-and-around º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ that support the local community.

This autumn, just under £5,000 was donated by the University to these local groups to aid them with their activities.

Jon Walker, Chair of the Community Donations Committee and the University’s Director of Enterprise Development, said: “The University, its staff and students, are very much part of the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ community. The Donations Fund is one way we can support organisations in the voluntary and community sector that do fantastic work to help and support people across Charnwood.”
