Held at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ London, his physics lecture, ‘New Topological States of Matter: Material Platforms for Novel Fermions’ will explore current developments in topology and a new class of materials. A full abstract is available here.
The lecture series was established after Sir Nevill Mott, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist, visited º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Department of Physics in 1995 to present a lecture entitled ‘65 Years in Physics’.
Following its success, he permitted his name to be associated with an annual series to be given by distinguished invited speakers.
Refreshments will be provided on arrival and a drinks reception will be held after the lecture.
The event is free to attend but booking is required. Return transport from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ will be provided, with internal staff and students taking priority.
