Students vote º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ top in accommodation awards

Five of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s student accommodation buildings have been listed in the 2017 Student Accommodation Awards, including a first place win for Falkner Eggington hall.

The awards, compiled by StudentCrowd, are voted for by students in order to help others in their decision on where to live at university. Accommodation was reviewed by 10,834 students across the UK.

They were asked to review their accommodation from one to five stars against the following criteria: value for money, location, hall management, cleaning, common room/social spaces, social experience and internet/wifi.

The top 50 halls were deemed to have achieved excellence across the board.

Falkner Eggington, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s largest self-catered hall, received an impressive 4.77 out of five stars - the highest ranked in the country.

One review highlighted the social experience at ‘Falk Egg’: “Best hall! Everyone mixes with everyone - there are so many people, so you make so many friends.”

Also in the top 10 was Harry French (8th place) with William Morris, Telford and Royce all making the top 50.

Elaine Spary, Accommodation and Customer Services Manager at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ said: “We’re really pleased to have five of our halls in the top 50, especially with two of these in the top 10 and Falkner Eggington taking the top spot.

“Most importantly, the awards were voted by students themselves, so it’s great to hear directly from them that we’re providing the best accommodation experience.”
