Stakeholder Relations Manager at the University, Alison Barlow, commented: “We’re delighted to be supporting a range of fantastic local groups with their projects for another year.

“All of these groups do exceptional work within the community but often face financial difficulties, we’re happy to be able to help out. We also have a lot of staff from across the University who spend time outside of their working hours to support and involve themselves within these groups which is fantastic.

“We would like to thank everyone who took the time out to submit a bid to our Community Donations Programme and look forward to supporting more groups in the New Year.”

Additional rounds of funding from the Community Donations Fund Programme will be available as the academic year progresses. Further information is available at www.lboro.ac.uk/services/community
