º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ tops Lloyds Bank Quality of Student Life Survey
Students at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ have the best quality of student life, according to a national survey conducted by Lloyds Bank.
The annual University Quality of Student Life Survey aims to quantify where student satisfaction and living standards are highest by ranking individual institutions' performance across a range of indicators.
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ scored highly in several categories to secure its top place ranking:
- Nine out of ten students (89%), compared to the national average of 86%, are satisfied with their course
- 94% of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ undergraduates who completed their degree in 2013 were in employment or undertaking further study six months after graduating, with their starting salaries around £2,400 per annum higher than the national mean average of £21,000
- º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has some of the best sporting facilities amongst British universities, all within its single-site campus, and dominates the British Universities and Colleges Sport Championship, having won the title for the last 34 consecutive years.
- º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ students rate their social life as one of the best in Britain, with Nottingham and Leicester on their doorstep.

This has helped them clinch the top spot as students of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ enjoy the best quality of life amongst UK universities for 2014.”
