LGBT+ Portraits
To mark LGBT+ Month in 2019, LU Arts hosted an exhibition of portrait photography. The exhibition presented the portraits of our º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ LGBT+ community, taken during a portrait session with photographer Ming de Nasty.
The photos aim to further explore how we self-identify, what impact labels have on our lives and how individuals’ unique and complex identity shapes them.
The photographs were accompanied by words written by the individuals stating what their identity means to them and how they can express it within the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ LGBT+ community.
The exhibition was held in Martin Hall Exhibition Space and formed part of a multitude of events happening across LGBT+ History Month in 2019.
