Experts in Sport: Wellbeing Science Institute

The latest º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Experts in Sport podcast delves into the subject of wellbeing in professional sport.

Host Martin Foster (Applied Sport Management Lead) is joined by Steve Johnson, Chief Executive Officer at the Wellbeing Science Institute, to discuss psychology and wellbeing to enhance sporting success both on and off the pitch.

The episode explores the definition of wellbeing and examines its impact on sporting performance and Steve discusses the organisational wellbeing program he was involved in at the National Rugby League in Australia.

The panel also debate the need for accreditation to enable practitioners to gain professional knowledge of athlete wellbeing. They give information about a new elite athlete wellbeing course offered at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and delivered by the Wellbeing Science Institute.
