º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ remains fifth best university in the UK in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has maintained its top five ranking for a second successive year in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020 and remains the top university in the Midlands.
The guide ranks universities on nine indicators – teaching quality, student satisfaction, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, service and facilities spend, and degree completion rates.
In the 2020 guide º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is ranked fifth out of 134 universities and is first in five subject areas: Building; Communication and Media Studies; Criminology; Librarianship and Information Management; and Sport Science.
Speaking about its latest ranking, Vice-Chancellor Professor Robert Allison said: “Yet again this league table demonstrates that º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is truly one of the country’s best universities. But this doesn’t happen by chance. The º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ family is incredible, working tirelessly to ensure that every student, both here at the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ campus and at our campus in London, gets the very best out of their university years.
“I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and commitment and congratulate them on being part of a hugely successful top five UK university.”
