º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ rises to 11th in The Complete University Guide 2016
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has risen to 11th place out of 126 universities in the UK in The Complete University Guide league table for 2016.
The league table is based on ten measures: student satisfaction, research quality, research intensity, entry standards, student to staff ratio; spending on academic services; spending on student facilities; good honours degrees achieved; graduate prospects and completion.
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ also remains the leading university in the East Midlands, and features in the top ten nationally for 11 subject listings, taking first place in Librarianship and Information Management.
Speaking about the 2016 guide Professor Robert Allison, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Vice Chancellor said: “I am delighted that º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has retained its position as a top UK university. We take great pride in the all-round student experience we offer at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, the quality of education we provide and our world-class research and innovation.”
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ was also recently crowned University of the Year at the 2015 Whatuni Student Choice Awards.
