º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ ranked first for overall satisfaction in independent student survey
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has ranked first for overall student satisfaction in the UK and globally in an independent survey.
The Student Barometer and International Student Barometer allow students to give universities feedback on the services they provide. The surveys cover several aspects of students’ experience, including why they chose to study at the university, the application process, and how satisfied they are with a range of learning, living and support areas.
In the Autumn Wave 2014 Student Barometer, which seeks the views of home students, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ was ranked first in the UK and globally for overall satisfaction, out of 48 participating universities, with 95% of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ students saying they were satisfied with the University overall.
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ was also rated first in the student support, student living and student learning experience categories.
Ninety-two per cent of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ students who took part in the survey said they would recommend the University to those thinking of applying.
In the Autumn 2014 International Student Barometer, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ was ranked first for its sports facilities, out of the 183 universities who participated globally.
Around 280,000 home and international students from 211 institutions in 18 countries took part in the Autumn Wave 2014 surveys.
The survey is run by i-graduate, an independent agency that tracks and benchmarks student and stakeholder opinions across the entire student journey, from prospective students to alumni.

In 2015 the University will open an additional academic campus in London’s new innovation quarter. º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ London, based on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, will offer postgraduate and executive-level education, as well as research and enterprise opportunities.
