£0.5 million scholarship package announced for º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in London
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is investing over half a million pounds (£0.5m) in scholarships and bursaries to support students studying at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in London in 2015.
Opening in autumn 2015, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in London is an inspiring new campus, based on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which will offer cutting-edge postgraduate taught programmes, research (including PhD study) and partnerships focused on innovation.
The scholarship and bursary scheme is comprised of five types of packages.
The Dean’s Enterprise Scholarships are open on a competitive basis to all students, who will be required to submit a one-page proposal outlining their business idea. The scholarships offer a 90% tuition fee discount, plus a package of financial support that will help the students to develop their business venture.
The discretionary Excellence Scholarships, worth a 20% discount from the tuition fee, are available to students who achieve a First Class or high Upper Second undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognised institution.
The East London Community Scholarships are open to any student meeting the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in London degree programme entrance criteria who obtained their GCSEs or A-levels (or equivalent qualifications) from within The Growth Boroughs – Barking and Dagenham, Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. These scholarships provide students with a 50% discount on the tuition fee.
The Launch Year º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Graduate Bursaries, worth a third off the tuition fee, are intended for students who are currently studying at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and will graduate in the summer of 2015.
The Alumni Bursaries will offer a 20% tuition fee discount to any º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ graduate.

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in London is part of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park’s Here East development, which is bringing together education, business, technology and media to drive forward creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.
