Profile
Dr Woolley is researching technologies that support the uptake of reusable packaging solutions, reducing plastic waste by increasing service life, and supporting the development of new circular economies. His technical expertise lies within optical detection and process technologies. Dr Woolley also has an interest in the reduction of household food waste, developing systems that enable the food industry to help consumers waste less food and eat better.
His media engagement includes BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire, East Midlands Today, News 24, World Service and ITV News Central and he has written several times for The Conversation.
