The roles

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has ambitious plans to set up a new Centre for AI and Digital. This is to meet the growing demand for the research around artificial intelligence and the subsequent supply of skills to the job market. This centre will sit alongside º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s new £6m DigiLab teaching facilities and a dedicated cybersecurity lab. These will support our existing Master’s degrees and two new Master's degrees in Cyber Resilience and Computer Science conversion, both starting in 2025.

We would like to attract leaders and teams to develop this new Centre for AI and Digital over the next few years, with the aim of making it a major hub in the Midlands.

Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Reader and Professor roles

We are recruiting for Lecturers, Senior Lecturers, Readers and Professors to join us in the broad areas of AI, Computer Vision, Networks and Systems, and Cyber Security.

You will have a record of academic excellence that contributes to furthering knowledge in your discipline, recognised by a growing international reputation. Candidates must also have a PhD (or equivalent experience) and be able to demonstrate a clear path towards achievements at a higher academic level.

Cyber Security Specialists

We are also looking to recruit a Cyber Security Specialist and Senior Cyber Security Specialist who will support the delivery of teaching and learning, including assessment, to undergraduate and postgraduate students primarily undertaking the Masters in Cyber Resilience.

This role will include supporting students in laboratory work and delivering lectures and seminars, as well as supervising projects and taking part in administrative activities.
